Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a KYRAN MEDTECH account or using any part of the kyranmedtech.com service (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility & Account

KYRAN is provided to medical students enrolled at recognized Ethiopian medical schools. You agree to provide accurate registration details and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

3. Subscription & Payment

Pro subscriptions are billed via Telebirr. Once activated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing or plans with notice.

4. Content Use Restrictions

You may use KYRAN content for personal study only. The following are material breaches of these Terms:

  • Copying, scraping, or automated extraction of question content, explanations, or any other Service data.
  • Sharing question content with non-subscribers, including via screenshots, photos, exports, or any other means.
  • Posting question content to public forums, Telegram groups, social media, websites, or any third-party service.
  • Using KYRAN content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models.
  • Sharing your account credentials with any other person.
  • Accessing the Service from more than two devices in any seven-day period.
  • Bypassing or attempting to bypass any access control, rate limit, or security measure.

5. Enforcement

We monitor for the behaviours described in Section 4. Upon detecting any breach we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • Suspend your account immediately;
  • Terminate your account and retain all paid fees as liquidated damages;
  • Pursue civil and criminal remedies under Ethiopian law, including claims for damages, injunctive relief, and recovery of legal costs.

6. Contributor Content

If you contribute questions to KYRAN through the contributor program, you grant KYRAN MEDTECH a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, distribute, and create derivative works of your contributed content for any purpose related to the Service. This license survives termination of your account.

7. Privacy

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that processing, including the logging of question access for fraud prevention and the use of device fingerprinting to detect account sharing.

8. Disclaimer

KYRAN content is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical training, licensing examinations, or clinical judgment. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will require renewed agreement at next sign-in.
